~ The Company History ~

The Peaks Pet Nanny, LLC was established in 2004

When the owner, Gina Brugna, personally experienced the stress & heart break of leaving her dog, Duncan

home alone while working very long hours for Corporate America...which involved late meetings and daily traffic jams on Rt. 80.

Meanwhile Duncan waited patiently to be taken outside and was in need of company & attention.

The Peaks Pet Nanny was established in response to the lack of easy to find, high quality, professional pet care.

~ Meet The Peaks Pet Nannies ~

Gina Brugna resides in Lake Hopatcong with her husband, Patric and beloved baby boys - James and baby Jonathan.

Gina has owned and loved dogs, cats, birds, rabbits & fish; and truly enjoys working with animals!

Gina earned her B.A. in Business Communications from Rowan University and worked in Corporate America for a decade,

yet volunteered personal time to animal shelters, fund raising and caring for her own furry best friends.

Gina also instructed at Middlesex County College in Edison, NJ on the basics of starting a pet sitting business.

Sadly, Duncan passed away October 2007.  Her dedication to his memory and a constant passion for animals and their "people" lives on with The Peaks Pet Nanny.

Renee has always loved being around animals.

After receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications & Marketing from The College of New Jersey, she spent 3 years working in Corporate America...

However, she felt unfulfilled with this lifestyle and decided she needed a change.

After Gina started The Peaks Pet Nanny LLC, Renee determined that was the move she needed to make...

to spend her time not only with animals, but also making a difference in family's lives by lovingly taking care of their furry family members.

She has found it to be one of the most rewarding experiences of her life!

Renee lives in Dover with her husband, Jimmy, their newborn daughter, Gracelynn, their kitten - Daisy and their girls Sandy and Cassidy... both adopted from foster homes.

Renee cares for our furry clients in  Dover, Wharton, Mine Hill, Randolph and Roxbury areas.

Leslie joined The Peaks Pet Nanny’s team as a Professional Pet Nanny.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and recently "retired" from the legal field after 22 years.

Having been born and raised in the farmlands of New Jersey, working as a guard dog handler throughout college and after hundreds of volunteer hours at local animal shelters,

it’s no wonder she pursued a second career in animals.

Leslie is also a professional "positive" dog trainer & owner of It’s Your Dog, LLC.

Stefanie graduated from Boston College and
joined The Peaks Pet Nanny after deciding to take classes towards her graduate degree in the health-care field.

When she's not in class, Stefanie loves the idea of brightening a pet's day when their owners can't be home!

Because her parents moved to Massachusetts, she doesn't get to see her family dogs on a regular basis anymore -- Buddy, her sweet Golden Lab; and Bella, her spunky Amstaff.

Being a natural animal lover (who misses her "babies"!), she finds pet-sitting to be rewarding, enjoyable, and an ideal way to spend her time.

Stefanie is a long-time resident of Morristown NJ currently serving the Morristown, Morris Plains and Madison area.

Nadine graduated from Rowan University with a degree in Special Education.

After a challenging few years of teaching, she decided to become a pet nanny because being around animals really soothes her soul.  Nadine owns a 12 year old Beagle, Sandee who is the love of her life!

Just recently they became certified as a pet therapy team through St. Hubert's and have begun visiting elderly care facilities which they both find fulfilling.

Nadine is also currently enrolled in an Animal Behavior College working towards a certification in Dog Training.

In addition to Sandee and her pet hamster, Nadine has grown up with bunnies, fish, gerbils, mice, hermit crabs and loves and respects all animals...big or small.

Nadine is thrilled that there are so many people who only want the best for their animals when they are not home which is why she joined The Peaks Pet Nanny

and looks forward to caring for her new furry friends in the Denville area!

Alyssa lives in Madison with her husband Deon and her fur baby, Calvin...

also lovingly known as Mookie!

After working as a children's nanny for many years, Alyssa understands the value and importance of taking the very best care of our little loved ones.

Alyssa treasures the opportunity to do just that - now as a pet nanny!

A happy pet parent and friend to all kinds of animals, Alyssa has found that there is not a critter that deserves any less than the VERY best love and attention that we can provide.

Alyssa hopes that as pet owners and animal lovers, we will be a part of making our world a safer and cherished home for all living things...as they are our gift!

Cathy resides in Mt. Arlington with her adopted "fur children", Zelda and Oreo.

Cathy presently works full-time as an Administrative Assistant for Corporate America, but much rather prefers to spend her time as a Peaks Pet Nanny.

This part-time basis allows Cathy to care for our client's kitties in Hopatcong and the surrounding areas.

When Cathy isn't pet sitting, she also volunteers her heart and time caring for animals living in various shelters until they have found their "forever homes" with a loving family.

Cathy's care and commitment to all animals shines through in many aspects of her life and we are especially grateful to have Cathy as a Peaks Pet Nanny.

Kathleen resides in Rockaway with her husband, son and daughter.

In addition, she cares for her two other "children" - a sweet Yellow Lab named Chloe and Jethro a Katrina survivor rescued from St. Huberts.

Kathy and her husband currently own their own carpet cleaning business, Turbo Carpet Cleaning: www.turbocarpetcleaning.vpweb.com

But Kathleen has handed off her duties to her husband so she can pursue a job working with animals...her true "dream job".

What better job is there than helping families and keeping furry family members safe and happy? Kathleen finds it difficult to actually call this a "job" - working as a Peaks Pet Nanny.

She really enjoys the "work" and the time spent with her new furry clients!

Kathleen covers Rockaway, Denville, Mountain Lakes and the surrounding areas.

Christine lives in Morristown with her husband, their spoiled dog, Penny Lane and their two parakeets, Sunny and Storm.

Christine works full time as a Learning Disabilities Consultant in a public school and so excited to also be part of The Peaks' Nanny team!

She first learned about The Peaks Pet Nanny when they took care of her precious pup, Penny Lane, when both her and her husband worked far from home.

It gave her much comfort to know Penny was well cared for when she couldn't be there.

She is very happy to be able to share that comfort with other pet lovers as a Peaks Pet Nanny.

Jill lives in Andover Township with her husband, daughter, son and their beloved Field Spaniel, Windsor.

Windsor is approaching his 12th birthday and although he enjoys his daily walks, he now requires extra attention and "TLC".

Jill has been fortunate to grow up with animals - allowing her to be very comfortable with their care and also understanding the companionship and the special bond we have with our pets.

Jill earned her Bachelor's degree in Business Management from West Chester University.

After working in the Communication and Marketing industry, she dedicated the past four years to raise her children.

Now that school has become part of the children's daily routine, Jill looks forward to spending time with our client's "fur children" - caring for them as her own.

Nancy grew up in Morris Township and resides there once again after living in Cedar Knolls.
She joined The Peaks Pet Nanny full time after owning her own pet sitting business, Nan's Best Friend, for 10 years.

Nancy graduated from County College of Morris and worked in corporate America and various law firms before she found her true calling as a professional pet sitter.  Some of her other jobs included working as a kennel assistant for The Seeing Eye, a dog exerciser at the Morris Animal Inn in Morristown and an assistant for a local breeder of Malteses and Yorkshire Terriers.
She also volunteered at the Parsippany Animal Shelter and will be starting again as a volunteer at the Randolph Animal Pound.

Nancy has owned dogs and cats her entire life.  She recently lost her beloved "children" after having them both until age 11:  Roxy, a Boxer, adopted from a Boxer rescue organization, and Huey, a Pit Bull mix, adopted from the Westchester County Animal Shelter in New York.  Being that she is currently without any pets at the moment, it makes her day even more special when she gets to interact with clients' pets.

Nancy services Parsippany, Morris Plains, Denville and the surrounding areas.

Gina V joined The Peaks Pet Nanny in 2007 but took a temporary leave of absence in 2009 to be a stay-at-home Mom to her daughter.
However, her compassion and love for all animals couldn't keep her away from The Peaks Pet Nanny.

Gina is honored and overjoyed to be a part of the The Peaks Pet Nanny family once again!

Gina services Flanders, Budd Lake, Netcong, Chester, Long Valley and surrounding areas of Morris County.

Tracey with Bandit

Tracey has worked with all kinds of animals for over 15 years and has previously managed a boarding and training facility in Berkley, California.

In addition, Tracey also worked as a pet sitter in California while assisting with Berkley Animal Care and Control,
which included caring for lost, hurt and abandoned animals.

Her heart goes out to all animals big and small ~ and enjoys nurturing client's pet that may be unsure or just in meed of extra love and attention.

Tracey fully understands the need for the love, comfort and very importantly ~ play ~ that our furry loved ones need,
so they feel secure and comfortable, especially when their "parents" are away.

Tracey resides in Dumont with her fiance, Craig, and her son, Lucas, and their "Super Dog" Bandit - their foster pup turned forever friend.

Erin

Erin resides in Succasunna with husband Rich and their two children, Alexandra and Joey.
Erin's 3rd child of 16 years is better known as Baby, who is a gorgeous orange tabby cat. Erin would love to have more furry bodies roaming her home,
if she could...both her children are HUGE animal lovers as well, which makes Erin very happy!

Growing up, Erin had just about every furry animal allowed to be owned.
With animal loving parents...the wasn't a pet she wasn't allowed to keep ~ bunnies, hamsters, dogs, cats, ferrets, and of course fish and hermit crabs.

When not tending to her Peaks Pet Nanny duties, Erin is a Jazzercise Instructor, which she absolutely loves.
Some of her other activities include the PTA Vice President, Room Mom to both children, soccer and baseball Team Mom, and many more - depending on the season.

Only until a little over two years ago - Erin worked full time in Corporate America and is now fortunate enough to call her "real" job as a "Stay at Home Mom"...who is actually never home.

Being able to take care of other people's furry loved ones brings great joy to any animal lover,
so Erin is very glad to have opportunity to "work" as a Peaks Pet Nanny.
