Tami, a Peaks Pet Nanny who services Essex County, would like to introduce you to Stallone—a 7-year-old boxer mix in need of his forever home:

“He is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and a cute, healthy guy. Stallone came up north from a high kill shelter in North Carolina where he was found starving. With love and care from Rescue Dogs Rock, he’s gained weight, and is now a healthy, happy dog.

Stallone has a nice amount of energy for an older dog. He loves running around in the backyard, taking long walks, playing with other dogs, eating (anything—he’s not at all picky) and most especially enjoys falling asleep on a willing human’s lap after a long day of play.

stalloneblog2Stallone doesn’t like cats, so a forever home would need to be one with no cats. Otherwise, he loves other dogs and humans big or small. He doesn’t bark much and—since he’s not a puppy anymore—he doesn’t chew or destroy his human’s belongings. He’s housebroken and is currently being fostered in Riverdale, NJ.
