Captain Buddy was found behind a local hardware store, bumping into tires. It seemed like he couldn’t see and didn’t know where to go. A kind person who worked at the store dropped him off at a nearby vet hospital where it was determined he had glaucoma in his right eye and cataracts in his left. His right eye has since been removed and he has been recuperating well.
This sweet Jack Russell Terrier mix is 6-7 years old, about 30 pounds, neutered, and fully vetted. He is currently living with a foster family in Randolph, NJ; his foster family says: “Boy, is he a sweetie. He is crate trained and walks well on a leash in spite of not being able to see. He sniffs at everything and enjoys the long walks. He is friendly with other dogs and loves attention.”
Captain Buddy has likely never known love or what it’s like to be cared for.
He is in need of a forever home.
