We are interviewing Pet Sitters in New Jersey to join our outstanding team of professional Pet Nannies. The Peaks Pet Nanny provides an exclusive service and is a leader in the dog walking and pet sitting industry.  We know that every pet is unique and has very different needs.  Our visits are tailored to the client’s specifications to provide the best service possible. Our visits are personalized to each client within the comfort of their own home. Our Pet Nannies are trustworthy, kindhearted individuals who enjoy working with a close-knit team. Our clients have great comfort knowing their beloved pets, and the security of their home are in capable-hands, receiving dependable service, 100% of the time.

Our Pet Nannies are ethical, responsible, and dependable, as they enter and secure our client’s homes daily. The Pet Nanny position for someone who is good-natured and has a genuine love for animals and truly enjoys helping others — including clients and fellow Pet Nannies.

To Qualify:

• Pet Nannies live in their service area and service a 10-mile radius.
• A genuine passion to help and care for animals.
• Experience caring for both dogs and cats.
• In good physical condition to walk LARGE dogs.
• Background checks and references are required.
• Comfortable working outside in all types of weather.
• Over 25 years of age (for insurance purposes).
• Own a dependable car, insurance, driver’s license.
• Smartphone, computer, and printer are needed.

Responsibilities:

• Available for dog walking (approx. 10 am – 4 pm) Monday – Friday.
• Available for occasional “Vacation Care” (morning, dinner, and bedtime visits).
• Enjoy meeting new clients for consultations and “meet & greets.”
• Detail-oriented and timely in communication with the office and clients.
• Provide a written report card after each visit.
• Provide text, pictures, and video updates for clients.
• Label and safely secure client keys.
• Every visit is customized to each client’s specifications and requests.

Compensation:

• Compensated as 1099 Independent Contractors.
• Commissions range from $11.50 – $20 for each (30-minute) visit.
• Earn more for multiple pets, weekends and holidays!

This is a wonderful position for Animal Lovers with midday availability Monday – Friday. If you are passionate about pets and comfortable looking after animals that may need a little extra care, this a wonderful opportunity.
