bulldogSNORT is an all-volunteer, non-profit rescue based in the Northeast.  Its purpose is to rescue brachycephalic dogs (mostly French Bulldogs, Boston Terriers, English Bulldogs, and Pugs) from shelters and owners who can no longer keep them, and place them into loving homes.

SNORT was founded early in 2012 and since its start, it has found forever homes for over 500 dogs. SNORT spans across the entire northeast of the United States and keeps their adoptees in foster homes—not adoption centers or shelter locations—until they are adopted.

SNORT currently has around 300 active volunteers working together to raise funds and advocate for smooshed face dogs.  Check out Snort Rescue for more information or to see our dogs currently in foster care.
