Starting in 2004 with just an idea to be a “Pet Nanny,” we are now the largest privately owned company in New Jersey!
We have had the privilege of servicing over 1,600 clients and manage a dedicated team of 50 Pet Nannies all over Northern NJ.
Now that the flood gates have opened after a quarantine, the phone has been ringing off the hook. After Covid shutting down our state for months, we are beyond grateful!

We are interviewing for the following areas:
Madison – Morris Plains
Florham Park – Morristown
Randolph – Morris Plains
West Orange – Maplewood
Sparta – Lake Hopatcong
Qualifications:
-A genuine passion for helping and caring for animals.
-Live in your service area and willing to drive a 10-mile radius.
-Experience caring for dogs and cats.
-In good physical condition to walk LARGE dogs.
-Comfortable walking outside in all types of weather.
-Over 25 years of age (for our liability insurance).
-Own a dependable car, insurance, driver’s license.
-A smartphone, computer, and printer are needed.
-Background checks and references are required.
Responsibilities:
-Visits are customized to each customer’s needs, wishes, and time frames.
-Available for midday dog walking Monday through Friday.
-Available for occasional pet sitting: (morning, dinner, and bedtime visits).
-Enjoy meeting customers for complimentary new client meetings.
-Detail-oriented and timely in communication with the office and clients.
-Provide a written report card after each visit.
-Provide text, pictures, and video updates for customers.
-Label and safely secure client keys.
Being a Peaks Pet Nanny allows us to spoil our furry customers, stay active, enjoy the outdoors. It also provides a sense of meaning and fulfillment to help animals and other pet parents.
