Pet Nanny Since January 2015

Her family loves to tell stories of Chris, as a trick-or-treating toddler, walking right past the person who opened the door (and their candy) and making a beeline for whatever animals she saw waiting for her through their owner’s legs! And her intense love for animals has only grown throughout the years, fostering an intuitive nature that enables Chris to read their feelings.  Chris resides in Livingston with her husband, two teenage daughters and three awesome cats. After graduating from Rutgers with bachelor’s degrees in Philosophy & Women’s Studies, she focused her life on various creative endeavors. Chris directed an independent world-championship color-guard, created art & hand-made wire wrapped jewelry, and traveled the country.  Chris has NEVER lived without animals, and certainly wouldn’t consider it! She’s very excited to be part of The Peaks Pet Nanny team where she meets lots of new cuddly friends. Chris was always hesitant to leave her cats for long periods, so she knows only too well how important it is for a caregiver to take time to understand the individual personality and needs of each animal, and give them the love and attention they deserve.
