Meet Jasmin
Pet Nanny Since October 2022
Jasmin is originally from Switzerland and has been living in the US since 1998. She graduated from Temple University and has a Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. Jasmin is married and has a son and a daughter in Elementary school. After living in New York City and Bergen County and working as a German translator, she and her family decided it was time to find a quieter place to live. So, they moved to Branchville and bought a small farm on a 3 acres property. Their dream was to have farm animals and live in a rural paradise. So, now they have three goats, two sheep, four chickens, four Guinea hens, six Silkies, Ozzy the cat, and a dog named Molly. All of them are rescues (except for the chickens).
Since Jasmin is a stay-at-home mom and loves the outdoors, being a Peaks Pet Nanny is a dream job for her. Molly and Jasmin walk several miles daily and enjoy being in nature. She also spends a lot of time with her farm animals which require lots of love and care. The sheep, Ronnie and Pearl were rescued on Easter from a meat farm when they were only 6 weeks old, so gaining their trust was a very long process. After much patience and love, both sheep are now happy as can be. Jasmin and her family plan to rescue more animals that need a safe place to live. She absolutely loves animals, and working with them brings her so much joy.
