Meet Kathy B
Pet Nanny Since April 2013
Kathy resides in Roseland and has taken care of all kinds of pets, including a parakeet, a cockatiel, a dwarf rabbit, a hamster, frogs, turtles, hermit crabs, eight cats, seven dogs, and both fresh and saltwater fish. Animals always seem to know that showing up on Kathy’s porch means a bite of food or a bit of affection, whether it’s the neighbors’ golden retriever or stray orange tabbies or the deer, raccoons, groundhogs, skunks, wild turkeys, squirrels, chipmunks, and birds that frolic in her neighborhood. Kathy is also an animal advocate and source of information in her community for lost dogs, finding homes for stray kittens, and advice for pet owners. She studied Animal Learning and Comparative Development at Rider University, and graduated cum laude, with departmental honors in Psychology. Specializing in animal behavior patterns, Kathy had two research papers published and a third presented at a national conference.
